Hearing requires conservation we have to try and save our hearing in the same way that we try and save our bodies by eating well, exercise and doing good things. Hearing loss is particularly put at risk by exposure to loud noise. As all of us know people who have been exposed to loud noise at work or in the military, often have greater hearing loss than the average person.
Hearing protection in normal activities like going to concerts. Music at these type of public events can be incredibly loud. Wearing the extremely comfortable E.A.R. plugs, which you can get for free at my office, will still allow you to hear the music at the concerts but not be bombarded with the intensity of the music. There are lots of reasons for hearing loss but the main reason that we can actually control is our exposure to noise. We need to be aware. We need to be responsible for our own hearing loss.
